Investor Relations Associate

We’re looking for someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented and an exceptional communicator, to support our senior account management team and clients with day-to-day investor relations, media relations and other strategic communications initiatives. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive and hardworking, good at multi-tasking and prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and analysis on companies, industries, communications practices, press coverage
  • Drafting, editing and proofing press releases and other documents
  • Updating PowerPoint investor presentations
  • Conference call planning and logistics, and assisting with earnings-related documents
  • Coordination of investor meetings, conference presentations and press interviews
  • Monitoring research and news on clients; drafting summaries for clients
  • Conducting investor, analyst and media outreach
  • Assisting in new business related research and presentations

Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate or professional with 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Undergraduate degree with strong GPA
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Resourceful, curious and interested in learning

Investment Analyst

The Investment Analyst role is an assignment that offers candidates the chance to build their analytical skills and expand their knowledge of private capital investments and the broader capital markets while working with clients ranging from large multi-national public companies to smaller privately held companies across broad industry classifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and produce investor relations programming for small-cap publicly traded companies including investment profiles; shareholder letters; press releases; conference call scripts, investor communications, written reports (short and long-form), special research content, case studies and event programming.
  • Coordinate with senior partners on business development and participate in pitch meetings
  • Build and execute research and investor relations content across multiple industries (healthcare, consumer, technology) and clients across multiple delivery platforms and audiences – industry professionals, retail and institutional investors

Qualifications

  • Candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other quantitative subjects is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and accounting skills
  • Familiarity with the capital markets (knowledge of debt and equity security terms and valuation methodologies)
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Business related experience preferred, but not required
  • Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program is a plus.

Vice President, Media Relations

As the Media Relations Specialist you will be proactively managing multiple client relationships by maintaining frequent contact and serving as a trusted consultant. You’ll be a self-starter, not just promoting existing client news, but also coming up with the next great news story or angle to get your clients the kind of coverage other agencies wish they could get! You’ll be responsible for mentoring other staff to become PR super stars while building your own expertise, managing your work and producing consistent and measurable results for clients in franchise, building trades, manufacturing, home service, and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Write press releases in AP style
  • Pitch client stories to national, regional and local media
  • Work with media, press and online outlets as needed
  • Develop, plan and execute public relations tactics as assigned
  • Create and execute social media campaigns for agency and clients, assuring client needs are met
  • Research, write and edit assigned projects on time, with ability to switch gears quickly
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with other members of the agency team
  • Collect information, triage, create and issue client reports on assigned tasks
  • Create professional social media posts and blogs, identify bloggers and key influencers for each client, encourage community conversations and provide content suggestions
  • Create and manage editorial and posting calendars
  • Monitor client social media and website analytics and create reports
  • Update client and internal status reports and participate/schedule staff and client meetings
  • Monitor, collect, track, evaluate and create reports on public relations tactics and competitive activity weekly/monthly or as assigned
  • Maintain agency time sheets as directed, with attention to detail
  • Coordinate, arrange and participate in client events, meetings and other activities at the direction of immediate supervisor
  • Stay on top of business best practices and provide insights to improve campaigns
  • Answering office phones and other administrative duties as needed
